H13/9008: Morimoto Elite Bi-Xenon HID System
$324.00 – $356.00 CAD
Morimoto Elite HID systems are the latest cutting edge design in HID performance and reliability. Compared to any name in the industry they’re superior in all areas of quality, construction and light output performance. This HID conversion kit replaces factory H13 or 9008 halogen bulbs with a brighter, long lasting and reliable H13/9008 bi-xenon HID system without retrofitting HID projectors.
Bulbs: 2x Morimoto H13/9008 XB Bi-Xenon
Ballasts: 2x Morimoto XB35 2.0 or XB55 2.0
Igniters: 2x Morimoto XB AMP
Wiring: 1x Morimoto Motocontrol H13/9008 Bi-Xenon Relay Harness or 1x Morimoto Mopar-Spec H13/9008 Bi-Xenon Relay Harness
5 Years for 35W System*
3 Years for 50W System*
*Reduced to 2 Years IF the HIDs are running as the daytime running lights
HID Ballasts: The all new Morimoto XB35 HID ballasts feature relocated igniters like OEM units, putting them far closer to the HID bulb. The lack of high voltage transmitted through wiring drastically reduces EMI/RFI (radio interference). Total system reliability is also improved by shielding the main circuit board from the static produced by these high voltage bursts on start up. (not to mention they’re damn good looking!)
HID Bulbs: The Morimoto 3Five Bi-Xenon HID bulbs feature precise alignment giving you the cleanest beam pattern possible with a plug-n-play bi-xenon HID system. Paired with quartz glass tubes to minimize UV output and maximize luminosity. Inside the glass chambers, their Praxair (US) metal halide salts produce very accurate color temperatures in the 4.3K, 5K, and 6K kelvin range.
Wiring: The Morimoto MotoControl Bi-Xenon Relay Harness features an all-new completely sealed high/low relay, 14 gauge stranded copper wire wrapped in durable black tech-flex mesh that looks like a factory harness once installed. No cutting or splicing here. There are only seven connections and they’re all plug-n-play.
Mopar Compatible: The optional Mopar-Spec relay harness wiring is recommended for most 1998+ Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler vehicles equipped with H13 or 9008 dual beam halogen bulbs. It contains a specific series of capacitors and resistors to trick the vehicles on-board-computer into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying lamp-out warnings on the dash and annoying flickering HIDs when the daytime running lights are engaged.
